Play up, play up, and play the game

So we win the series against Pakistan by three-and-a-half to a half. Seems fair enough - cricketers who get in a huff when they're accused of ball tampering and are not given a chance to defend themselves deserve all they get, if you ask me. But the matter isn't over yet, of course. The ICC still have to witter a bit. They can't witter today, of course, because they're based in Dubai (the spiritual home of cricket since the crusades, of course) and wittering about cricket on the Monday of a fourth test at the Oval with four wickets down when there isn't an 'r' in the month is, of course, one of Allah's abominations. Another of Allah's abominations is finding in favour of a non-muslim cricket-playing nation, so I fully expect a five-test penalty to be awarded against England, so the final result will be five and a half to two and a half. I've no objection to religion, if you like that sort of thing, but a line must be drawn when it starts to interfere with cricket.
